THIS EVENT DEPENDS ON WIND for our Kite, Windsurf, and SUP downwinder  races...

It also depends on flat water for our other SUP races.

Therefore......... this schedule is not set in stone and will be subject to changes -constantly..... the working schedule will be announced at the skippers meeting at Palapas Ventana on Jan 18th at 7 pm and then posted daily at the MC tent on the beach during the event..It is your responsibility to stay updated with any schedule changes.......... CHECK THE HOMEPAGE OF THIS WEBSITE!!

         Thurs 19th - Ventanas Del Sol (aka The RoundHouse) - Rock n´ Roll Dance Party 8pm 

         Friday 20th - Expo Beach  - Beach Buffet Dinner from Coyas 6pm and Reggae Beach Party 8pm  

         Saturday - Baseball Stadium  - Dinner and  LUCHA LIBRE 7:30pm 

         Sunday - PIZZA VELA - Best Pizza in La Ventana, Slideshow, Awards and Blues Explosion Dance Party 7pm

JAN 13th - NO MAS BASURA - citywide trash cleanup on streets and beaches - Kiters, school kids, locals, gringos - everybody come and pitch in - 8:30 am in front of the Police Station

Jan 15th - Panga Volunteers meeting 7 pm Palapas Ventana Restaurant

Jan 16th - Volunteer meeting for Finish line, raffle, kite catchers, Expo registration, First Aid, and more 7 pm Palapas Ventana Restaurant

Jan 16th - Final day for online registration- after this date signup in person only and entrance prices go up $15 USD more to enter all races  

Wednesday Jan 18th Registration open at Palapas Ventana all day / and jerseys will be ready from noon till 5 pm 12pm - 5 pm if you want to get your jersey without the crowd, pick your number out and come back for the mandatory meeting

7pm mandatory skippers meeting Palapas Ventana Restaurant - we will announce the racing schedule and rules, and last chance to  register for the fun - get your jerseys -

morning =   SUP PADDLE  ROYALE - 11 mile island crossing paddle - load boats in front of Baja Joes at 7 am

afternoon = 12-5 KiteXpo and first heats of BIG AIR / OLD SKOOL Kite Trick competition

evening = 8 pm  Rock and Roll Dance Party  at Ventana Del Sol aka the RoundHouse Official LV PArty Site signs to ensure you are drinking where your money helps support our schools!!

Friday Jan 20th

morning = THE CROSSING  - 11 mile Island Crossing for Kiters and Windsurfers  - load pangas at 7:00 am

afternoon = watch The Crossing and 12-5 KiteXpo -- more heats of BIG AIR / OLD SKOOL Kite Trick competition

REGGAE BEACH PARTY at Expo Beach evening = 6 pm --at EXPO BEACH-- Beach Buffet Meal from COYA's - the new fantastic restaurant at Ventana Windsports-- with K.L. Reggae band starting at 8pm + beer and margaritas party to support the schools

Saturday Jan 21st

morning = SUP 1 MILE RACE

aftrenoon = KITE AND WINDSURF COURSE RACING  - skippers meeting for course racers at 1100  am at Corona Tent - first heats of BIG AIR and OLD SKOOL Trick Competition  

                                                             12-5 EXPO - SUP 5 MILE DOWNWINDER RACE 

LUCHA PARTY - 730 pm REAL LUCHA LIBRE masked wrestling-  at the baseball stadium in El Sargento -sponsored by SLINGSHOT -  Put  your mask on and enter to win a new SLINGSHOT  Kite - buy beers and margaritas onsite to support the shools - great food from Taqueria su Amigo Pancho

Sunday Jan 22nd

morning = fun games and SUP relay racing

afternoon = BIG AIR and OLD SKOOL TRICK COMPETITION  FINALS  GO BIG!!!  12-5 KiteXpo

530 pm free shuttles start leaving every 20 minutes for dinner at Pizza Vela - the best pizza in La Ventana - just follow the Pizza Vela girls

evening = 7pm AWARDS PARTY, Pizza Slices, trophies, cash prizes, slideshow - then live Blues Explosion music and drinks at PIZZA VELA the management donates a % to the schools so drink up!!  What happens in Baja stays in Baja!!!! ride the free shuttles home.

 Monday Jan 23rd - wakeup late, have strong coffee and laugh at all the fun memories and be proud of all the money we raised for the schools - start planning for next year, consider blood transfusion.
